(Political Satire) (WASHINGTON–3.21.17) Rep. Nunes, head of the House Intelligence Committee, claimed today that President Trump and his top aides were caught in a legal FISA wiretap of a matter “not related to Russia.”

“I feel vindicated,” Trump said. “This has nothing to do with Russia. They were listening in on Frederick Douglass, which frankly, shocks me, because he’s an individual who has done some very good things of late, and frankly, I’m sickened that Obama would use him to get to my wires.”

When The Failing Times asked Mr. Trump to comment on FBI Director James Comey’s testimony that an investigation of Russia and our election was ongoing, the President replied:

“Is that cat over there on fire?”

When we looked back, the President was gone.
